GMC Terrain: Initial Drive Information / Power Driver Seat
To adjust a power driver seat,
if equipped:
- Move the seat forward or
rearward by sliding the control
forward or rearward.
- Raise or lower the front part of
the seat cushion by moving the
front of the control up or down.
- Raise or lower the entire seat by
moving the rear of the control up
or down.

To recline a power seatback,
if equipped:
- Tilt the top of the control
rearward to recline.
- Tilt the top of the control forward
to raise.

To adjust a manual seat:
Pull the handle at the front of
the seat.
Slide the seat to the desired
position and release the
handle.
Try to move the seat back and
forth to be sure it is locked in
place...
If equipped, memory seats allow two
drivers to save and recall their
unique seat positions for driving the
vehicle, and a shared exit position
for getting out of the vehicle...
Other information:
Headlamp High/Low-Beam Changer
Push the turn signal lever away
from you and release, to turn the
high beams on. To return to low
beams, push the lever again or pull
it toward you and release.
This indicator light turns on in the
instrument cluster when the
high-beam headlamps are on...
It is unusual for a tire to blow out
while driving, especially if the tires
are maintained properly. See Tires. If air goes out of a tire, it is
much more likely to leak out slowly.
But if there is ever a blowout, here
are a few tips about what to expect
and what to do:
If a front tire fails, the flat tire
creates a drag that pulls the vehicle
toward that side...
