GMC Terrain: Warning Lights, Gauges, and Indicators / Security Light
The security light should come on
briefly as the engine is started. If it
does not come on, have the vehicle
serviced by your dealer. If the
system is working normally, the
indicator light turns off.
If the light stays on and the engine
does not start, there could be a
problem with the theft-deterrent
system. See Immobilizer Operation.
This light, a Driver Information
Center (DIC) Message, and a chime
come on when there is an issue with
the DEF.
If the DEF issue has not been
corrected, the light will continue to
flash...
High-Beam On Light
This light comes on when the
high-beam headlamps are in use.

Other information:
With RPA, and if equipped with FPA,
as the vehicle moves at speeds of
less than 8 km/h (5 mph), the
sensors on the bumpers may detect
objects up to 2.5m (8 ft) behind the
vehicle and 1.2m (4 ft) in front of the
vehicle within a zone 25 cm (10 in)
high off the ground and below
bumper level...
Manual Liftgate Operation
Unlock the vehicle before opening
the liftgate.
To open the liftgate, press the touch
pad on the bottom of the liftgate and
lift up.
Do not press the touch pad while
closing the liftgate. This may cause
the liftgate to be unlatched...
